Who is a part of the National Talent Bank?

The National Talent Bank is an initiative of the Council on Social Action and was funded by the Office of the Third Sector. It’s developed and run by Business in the Community and TimeBank, experts in bringing business and charities together.

Business in the Community

Business in the Community mobilises business for good. We support our 800+ members to inspire and engage their employees, customers and suppliers to address key social issues in communities of greatest need. We offer guidance and programmes that enable businesses to share time, skills and resources that make a positive impact on the bottom line as well as society. We have 20 years experience of enabling companies to offer volunteering opportunities to their employees.

TimeBank

TimeBank is a national volunteering charity. We have ten years experience of finding ways for people to give their time that inspires them and matches their lives. We also partner with other organisations to create and develop innovative volunteering projects which have a real impact on communities. For the National Talent Bank, we’ll be using our expertise to work with charities and social enterprises to provide volunteering opportunities and manage the online hub to support and help volunteers find their projects.

Companies, Charities & Social Enterprises

The National Talent Bank is working with companies such as Ernst & Young to help them support their employees, and partnering with organisations like Global Action Plan, ChildLine, Growing Ambitions and Victim Support to provide volunteering projects.

Be part of it

We have a unique opportunity with growing need in our communities and up to a quarter of the workforce with more time to share. Employers have people with valuable skills and talents that can make a crucial difference to community projects.
